Golf Instruction

My name is Justin Osborne and I was born and raised in Cherokee County. I currently live in Canton with my wife and 3 children. I have started this academy to instruct and help golfers of all ages meet and exceed their goals in golf. Those goals could be learning the game, becoming a collegiate and professional golfer, or could be that you’re trying to beat your buddies in your usual Saturday group! Golf doesn’t have a finish line, it’s a journey and I’d love to help with yours.

I grew up a multi-sport athlete and know the importance in versatility and overcoming adversity. I transitioned from baseball to golf in high school and ended up earning a scholarship to play golf at Reinhardt University. I was a four year member of the conference champion golf team, earning several top finishes, and earning a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Marketing. After collegiate golf, I became the Head Golf Professional at City Club Marietta and managed all golf operations as well as provided golf instruction.

I’ve always been fond of Callahan Golf Links and I even started out here as a cart boy in high school, worked in the pro shop in college, and helped the Callahan family with anything I could when I worked here. After over a decade of being away from the place I spent so many hours at early in my career, I am returning to become the Director of Instruction.

I have played golf at a high level, managed a golf course, mentored by some of the most highly respected instructors, and provided instruction to juniors and adults. Please allow me to help you take your game to the next level by joining the OGA!
